Noida, In view of the situation of severe air pollution in Delhi, now the police has taken the lead. Several routes have been diverted. The Noida Traffic Police on Saturday announced restrictions on the entry of several types of commercial and private vehicles into the national capital. Under the advisory, there will be a ban on the movement of selected categories of vehicles to Delhi via DND, Chilla Border and Kalindi Kunj and their routes have been changed.

According to the advisory issued for the drivers, there will be a ban on the movement of light four wheelers of BS-3 model petrol and BS-4 model diesel from Noida to Delhi. Similarly, the entry of vehicles of this category, except trucks carrying essential goods and services or running on CNG and electric fuel, will be prohibited from entering Delhi.

Goods vehicles will not be able to enter Delhi
According to the advisory, "Diesel powered medium-sized load-carrying vehicles and heavy goods vehicles will also be prohibited from going to Delhi, although such vehicles carrying essential services have been exempted." On the way, it has been advised to go to the destinations via Yamuna Expressway or Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

Significantly, after Delhi's air is polluted to dangerous levels, vehicles are being banned there. In many areas, the police have tightened. The entry of vehicles is being monitored from Noida itself.
