Shahdol, Under the direction of Shahdol SP Kumar Prateek, Sohagpur Police has seized 619 green plants of ganja, based on information to the police, in Nipania village of Sohagpur police station area, accused Sukhwant Baiga planted a ganja plant in his yard. The police raided the spot and recovered 15 big cannabis plants and 604 small green plants from the accused's yard, the total weight of the seized plants is 40 kg 300 grams, the total estimated value of the seized ganja is Rs 5 lakh. It is being told, at present, the police has arrested the accused in this case and has taken action against him under the NDPS Act, the said action has been taken under the drug de-addiction campaign.
