Khargone, n Khargone district, 7 accused of scorpion gang have been arrested for their involvement in the violence on Ram Navami. The police have also seized 4 country-made pistols from these accused. SDOP Rakesh Mohan Shukla said that in the communal violence that took place on the occasion of Ram Navami on April 10, the Scorpion King of Khargone was informed through WhatsApp group. On which a reward of 10 thousand was also announced by the Superintendent of Police. While trying hard, 4 pistols have also been seized. During interrogation, the accused told that the main work of those people is the work of recovery including the houses of the people. The country-made pistols he has sold. He is absconding now.
History of arrested accused
SDOP Rakesh Mohan Shukla said that no connection of scorpion gang has been found with any inter-state gang. But have been involved in criminal activities in the district. Crimes have been registered against Afzal's father Ashfaq, the head of this gang, continuously from the year 2017 to 22 in communal incidents. He was arrested on 3 November. Since then, continuous remand is being questioned till now. The same other accused Imran alias Afzal father Mubarak 26 Zakib father Shakir 17 Ali father Ayyub 23 Yasim alias Monty father Ramzan Zubair father Shakeel Mansoori Majhid alias Kallu father Babu Khan is accused of buying pistol. Rest of the accused is absconding.
