New Delhi, The situation of air pollution in the country's capital Delhi has improved slightly. Despite this, the situation is very bad. The air quality (AQI) is very poor. The condition is that it is difficult to breathe. Especially for the elderly, women and children, this situation is of great concern. Various steps are being taken to control air pollution. In this connection, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has made several big announcements on Monday. Gopal Rai has banned all types of construction work except for a few exceptions. Also, there is a ban on diesel vehicles as well.

Gopal Rai has announced a ban on all types of construction work except railway, metro, airport, defence, hospital etc. He said that the ban on them will continue. Apart from this, it has also been decided to continue the ban on BS-III and BS-IV diesel vehicles, so that air pollution can be controlled. Along with this, it has been decided to continue with the work like emphasis on mechanical sweeping of roads, a sprinkling of water by fire brigade vehicles, etc.

Explain that CAQM has the right to take decisions regarding vehicles, in such a situation only they can take the final decision on the vehicles. On the questions being raised by the BJP regarding pollution, Gopal Rai said that making an issue is a different matter. He further said that it is his job to do politics, we are doing our work. Defending the Bhagatant Mann government amid the allegations, Gopal Rai said that the incidents of stubble burning are decreasing in Punjab. Such incidents are negligible in Delhi. Few incidents happen at the border. We will take a report from the SDM on the issue of FIR on farmers in the case of stubble burning.
