Gujarat will vote on December 1 and 5, results will come with Himachal
New Delhi, Online Desk. Gujarat Vidhan Sabha Election Date 2022: The Election Commission has announced the dates for the Gujarat Assembly elections by holding a press conference today. Elections will be held in the state in two phases and the results will be declared on December 8 along with Himachal Pradesh elections. The first phase of voting will be held on December 1 and the second phase will be held on December 5. The notification for the first phase will be released on November 5 and for the second phase on November 10.
The Election Commission has told that the current term of the Legislative Assembly in Gujarat is ending on 18 February 2023. This time 4 crore 90 lakh 89 thousand 765 people will exercise their franchise. Of these, there are more than 2 crore 53 lakh male voters and more than 2 crore 37 lakh female voters. This time the total polling stations will be 51 thousand 782.
Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar told that this time 4.9 crore voters will vote in Gujarat. Voting will be held at 51782 polling station. 142 model polling stations will be set up. 182 special polling stations will be built for the differently-abled. There will be 1274 polling stations for women.
