Shajapur, Under the de-addiction campaign in the district, continuous action is going on under the direction of the Superintendent of Police, Shajapur. During the campaign, effective action is being taken continuously by the police in cases of narcotics, illicit liquor.

In the said campaign, under the leadership of ASP TS Baghel, sub-divisional officer Shajapur Deepa Dodve and under the guidance of gazetted officers, the operation of the campaign is being done in different police station areas by the station in-charge. On Thursday also under the direction of SP Jagdish Davar, on the information of making illegal liquor in village Kithor Kanjar Dera of Police Station Salsalai, Sub-Divisional Officer (Police) Berchha Bhavishya Bhaskar, SHO Salsalai Tularam Patel, SHO Shujalpur Mandi, SHO Akodia, SHO. Police station in-charge Berchha, police station in-charge Sundarsi, police line force and Excise department along with the support force of sub-inspector Minakshi reached there and raided Kanjar Dero. During the investigation and investigation, it was found that a large quantity of illegal raw liquor is being made there. On this, a case has been registered against the accused Jastia Kanjar, Niranjan Kanjar and Anees Kanjar and taken up for investigation. During the proceedings, the quantity of liquor seized 600 liters which cost about Rs 60,000 was found on the spot for making liquor in large quantity Mahua Lahan, Good Lahan which was destroyed on the spot.
